“K” in cooperation with the tutoring schools “Pukamisas” presents you comments on the following topics:

“The central theme of the evaluation criterion concerns violence against women.

Individual questions of the criterion are moving into the general philosophy of the nationwide examinations of recent years with a fully text-centric approach aimed at properly prepared students.

Background text in Modern Greek language and literature highlights the contemporary issue of gender stereotyping and violence against women.

Candidates during the presentation are invited to develop and document their personal views on the phenomenon of violation of women’s rights and their contribution as a new generation to the achievement of gender equality.

Grade changes

For the general education course in Modern Greek Language and Literature, starting this year, excellent in the first subject, meaning that the summary that candidates are asked to make will receive 20 out of 100 points, compared to 15 received before last year.

In addition, in the course of Ancient Greek, one of the two questions of the studied text was “cut out”, which received 2 points out of 20. These points will be added to the translation of the unlearned, which will now be excellent for 10 points out of 20, out of 8 that were before the last of the year.

Special courses

The Orientation (GEL) and Specialization (EPAL) exams will be followed by Special Course exams from 17 to 29 June.

Candidates will be tested first in English on June 17 and in German on June 19. After that, the Freestyle and Line Drawing exams will take place (June 20 and 21, respectively).

After that, exams will be held for courses related to admission to music departments: Harmony (June 22), Musical listening skills test (June 23), Perception and knowledge of music (June 24), Musical performance and interpretation (June 26).

The special course exams will end with French (June 27), Spanish (June 28) and Italian (June 29).

Results and submission of the computerized article

It is expected that the results of the courses (except for special courses) will be announced at the end of June.. Candidates will once again be able to receive information about their scores (and later the school and department to which they are accepted) through the appropriate electronic application of the Ministry of Education, as well as via text message to their mobile phone (SMS).

Applicants will then be required to submit their computerized report electronically. As in the previous two years, it will be possible to submit a double parallel computerized report to the Public IEK. What will change this year is that the application will not take place in two stages, but in one, since, based on data from previous years, a very high percentage of applicants (93% for 2022) are accepted into the top 10 schools of choice from first phase.

As for the announcement of the results of the general Greek exams (i.e. admission bases), according to sources in the Ministry of Education, it is supposed to follow the same planning on the basis of which they were announced for the first time in years at the end of July. According to the same sources, the electoral procedures are not expected to affect specific programs.
