
“I did not see him”. With such a phrase, the detained 33-year-old man answered the policemen. for the fatal kidnapping of a 43-year-old police officer in Katechaki on Thursday evening (06.01).
The man was detained by EL.AS officers. for manslaughter, and when asked about it, he noted that, unfortunately, he had not seen the policeman and took him away.
The victim of the traffic accident served in the Athens Road Administration and, together with his colleagues, went to the scene to record another traffic accident that occurred earlier.
Well-informed sources, referring to cathimerini.grreported that police officers who arrived at the scene placed cones to “secure” the area from passing drivers, however, it seems that the 33-year-old man did not notice them and, as a result, dragged the 43-year-old away.
The policeman was taken to the 401st military hospital with severe wounds, where he soon died.
