
The tragedy occurred on Friday (26.05) in Xanthi, when a six-year-old girl died during a game.
The six-year-old girl was pinned down by a wall and suffered severe brain injuries and was immediately taken to Xanthi General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to the medical examiner Nikos Kifnidis, who performed the autopsy, the child died instantly.
“It was an incredible incident. A criminal case was immediately ruled out. A piece came off along with a cement block, it was a whole piece. The cause of death was severe head injuries. Instant death right on the spot,” said the coroner.
