Kemal Kilicdaroglu has yet to make any statement regarding the results of the second round of the presidential election, which leads only in one direction – according to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to the next five years in power.

“The only winner is Turkey,” he told his supporters as he boarded a campaign bus in Istanbul, according to the BBC.

Erdogan had few words for his opponent. “Goodbye, Kemal,” Erdoğan taunted his rival on air.

Erdogan also returned to a favorite theme of his campaign, accusing opposition parties of supporting LGBT policies.

This is a sign of approval and thanks to his conservative religious background.

And while he insisted he had won for 85 million Turks, it is clear that the country is deeply polarized, split almost in half, with Erdogan on 52.10% and Kemal Kilicdaroglu on 47.90%.
