Marco Asensio refused to extend his contract with “Real” and will leave for free in the summer

Marco Asensio has made 30 appearances this season in La Liga, scoring 9 goals and providing 6 assists, and his contract with Real Madrid is coming to an end.

The Spaniard is not the full owner of the squad coached by Carlo Ancelotti, so the 27-year-old has decided to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Asensio rejected Real Madrid’s latest contract extension offer and is likely to sign for another club this summer while remaining out of contract.

The cited source also notes that Paris Saint-Germain are already interested in his situation and are ready to make an offer to the player who has played 285 matches, 61 goals and 32 assists for Real.

In addition, Aston Villa and other Premier League clubs are interested in the services of the Los Blancos winger, who does not plan to stay in La Liga.

With Real Madrid, Marco Asensio won La Liga 3 times, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup 3 times, 3 UEFA Champions League trophies, 3 European Super Cups and 4 Club World Cups.
