
A 31-year-old Albanian man, wanted on an international warrant based on a red notice from the Albanian authorities, was arrested after a chase on Vorea Epiru Street in Ioannina for the “Losnia massacre” on October 11, 2017.
Together with the wanted Albanian, two more of his compatriots were arrested. A 35-year-old man injured in a brutal attack on a gas station on Tivon Street in Athens 2 years ago. The third person arrested, aged 22, is being prosecuted in Albania for inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The police chase began in connection with the case of trafficking in illegal immigrants.
In 2017, in the Albanian city of Lusnia, while settling scores for the Albanian mafia, two people were executed in cold blood in a city cafe and two more were injured, while the target of the attack managed to escape. The CCTV camera identified the perpetrators of the attack, and they were identified. Among them is a 31-year-old.
Three of those arrested are in the prosecutor’s office on charges of trafficking in migrants.
