Mirel Radoj was sacked a week ago in charge of Saudi Arabia’s Al-Taiyya following Cristiano Ronaldo’s defeat to Al-Nasr, but he was not sidelined for long.

Mirel Radoi signed a contract with Al Batah from the United Arab Emirates

United Arab Emirates club Al-Batai officially announced on Wednesday that Mirel Redoi has become the team’s new coach.

Al-Bataye narrowly avoided relegation in the recently concluded season, finishing 12th out of 14 teams.

The former Romanian national team coach was appointed as Al-Ta’i manager at the end of January when the team were in 9th place with 18 points and left the Hail side in seventh position with 34 points, ending the mandate with 4 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats (16 points).

At the age of 44, Redoi has also coached the Romanian national youth and senior teams, the FCSB and the University of Craiova.
