The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi declares that the main mission of his country and the goal of every international communication is to strengthen Ukraine and support the country’s defense. “Every foreign visit and almost every negotiation allows Ukraine to become stronger,” he added, News.ro reports.

In a message sent on Tuesday evening, Zelensky noted that he was in the Donetsk region, on the front lines, near Vugledar and Maryinka, wishing the marines a happy birthday.

He added that he personally awarded individual units that ended up on this side of the front.

“Today, right on the front line, they correctly announced the creation of the marine corps in Ukraine. New marine infantry brigades will be added to the existing ones, which will be equipped with weapons and modern equipment,” he emphasized.

The President of Ukraine explained that this visit to the front was final after numerous meetings and negotiations with partners.

“Everyone should understand this: the main mission of our country and the goal of each of our international relations is to strengthen Ukraine, support our defense, increase the capabilities of our soldiers and our country as a whole. Every foreign visit and practically every negotiation allows Ukraine to become stronger,” he said.

He also thanked other military personnel who protect Ukraine.

“Thank you to everyone who gives strength to Ukraine! The strength of our state now, the strength of our defense now, is the foundation of the strength of the rules-based international order. We will win together,” Zelenskyy concluded.
