George Simion stormed into the office of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Čolaku, to ask him to account for the sanctions imposed on the AUR MPs who staged a circus in Parliament.

Simion complained that his People’s Deputies were given only 10 seconds for plenary debates, and AUR People’s Deputies were punished for exposing “lawlessness”.

“We are deputies, we want to talk to the president of the Chamber of Deputies. We are waiting for him here. We will not suffer a blow in the mouth,” said the AUR leader, who broadcast the “intervention” LIVE. Later, he went to the plenary session, where the live broadcast continued.

However, Marcel Cholak was not in the office in the Chamber of Deputies. He was in the government, where several meetings were held on the subject of the educational strike.

Last week, the Legal Commission of the Chamber of Deputies decided to impose 50% of the monetary maintenance for six months on several deputies of the AUR and reduce the time at the table in the Chamber of Deputies for three months. Sanctions were imposed after AUR deputies protested aggressively at the plenary session, cursing and shouting at their colleagues.
