In a video released in the public domain, Daniel Gorodnichanu can be seen visibly disturbed by being stopped on the road and tries to intimidate the police, asking one of them if they know that he is “the chief prosecutor of Gorodnichanou Organized Crime”.
Horodničanu was stopped on the road in Iasi county for overtaking without a proper signal and for driving at a speed that exceeds the speed limit. The policeman answered him that he was not issuing a fine, but only required documents and wanted to draw his attention to the mistakes made on the road.
“I’m going to talk to the head of the IPJ,” Daniel Horodnicanu warned the policeman.
Horodničanu was stopped by the police on the road last summer as well, when the radar recorded his movement on DN2, in the county of Vranča, at a speed of 169 kilometers per hour. His license was then suspended, and he challenged the measure in court.
