The policemen from Iași, who stopped CSM vice-president Daniel Horodničana, were summoned to give explanations to their superiors regarding the video, in which the former chief prosecutor of DIICOT appears. Representatives of the IPJ of Iași clarified that the two policemen are not under disciplinary investigation, but only about checks carried out in the office of internal control, reports Euronews.

The two police officers who stopped Horodničan on the way are Tudor Lupu, who has been a policeman for 15 years and is the son of the mayor of Iași County, Katalin Lupu, and David Petru, the young man who took away Horodničan’s documents, was hired. by the police for 6 months and is 23 years old, according to the Disclosure website.

It will be recalled that on Monday the Judicial Inspectorate announced that it has notified the post and will conduct inspections in the case of the Vice President of the High Council of Magistracy (CSM) Daniel Horodničanu, the former chief prosecutor of DIICOT, who was stopped in traffic by two policemen of Iași.

In a video released in the public domain, Daniel Gorodnichanu can be seen visibly disturbed by being stopped on the road and tries to intimidate the police, asking one of them if they know that he is “the chief prosecutor of Gorodnichanou Organized Crime”.

Horodničanu was stopped on the road in Iasi county for overtaking without a proper signal and for driving at a speed that exceeds the speed limit. The policeman answered him that he was not issuing a fine, but only required documents and wanted to draw his attention to the mistakes made on the road.

“I’m going to talk to the head of the IPJ,” Daniel Horodnicanu warned the policeman.

Horodničanu was stopped by the police on the road last summer as well, when the radar recorded his movement on DN2, in the county of Vranča, at a speed of 169 kilometers per hour. His license was then suspended, and he challenged the measure in court.
