A young man from Great Britain placed a video camera on the luggage he checked into the hold of the plane. The 23 seconds, which were filmed and posted on Tik Tok, have garnered more than 16.2 million views.
With the caption, “Time to find out what the airport is doing with my bag,” he posted photos of the bag’s “journey.”

There is nothing spectacular in the pictures, just the way the luggage goes down the conveyor belt, spins and is finally loaded with other luggage into the machine that transports them to the plane.
“More please,” one user commented.
“I don’t think it’s legal,” commented another.
“This room would be great for people traveling with pets. You can put him in a box with your pet to see how he is treated,” was another suggestion.
According to the Daily Mail, flight booking website Alternative Airlines has confirmed the authenticity of the video, which details what happens to the luggage when it is held.
After registration, the suitcase is placed on the conveyor. Depending on its destination, it will go to a sorting office, where “robots or staff” will sort it for loading onto a plane. Baggage will be screened at the checkpoint – similar to the process of scanning carry-on luggage – to determine if there are any suspicious items inside. After passing through the security filter, agents from the airport ramp will make sure that the luggage reaches the right plane. After landing, the suitcase will be unloaded and taken to the terminal and then to the “baggage claim conveyors”.
