“We will make a 180-degree turn in our foreign policy. […] We will place it on the axis of the world. As Kemal Atatürk said, “peace in the country, peace in the whole world.” We will move peacefully. With all our neighbors, we will live in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility,” said Kemal Kılıçdaroglu, a presidential candidate from the Turkish opposition of the Six against Erdogan, from his rostrum in the city of Düzce.
It is recalled, however, that a few days ago, Kılıçdaroglu himself raised the issue of the demilitarization of the Greek islands through a pre-election video on Twitter, at the same time criticizing the government. Erdoganwho, he said, “did nothing” about it.
“Those who continue to slander us, have they done anything for the islands militarized by Greece?” This is all nonsense, my dear people. All lies. But be patient, the state will be a state again and all parties will know their limits,” Kılıçdaroğlu said in the video.
Referring to another big issue of refugees from Syria, the Turkish opposition presidential candidate said today from the city of Düzce that within two years, 3.6 million Syrians will return from Turkey, where they are today, back to Syria. “I promise you… Within two years, we will say goodbye to our 3.6 million Syrian brothers from our borders to their country. We will send not only Syrians, but also Afghans,” Kilychdaroglu said characteristically.
