Tyrnavos: Four accused of raping 22-year-old woman released on parole

Four detainees were released after confessing to the investigator in the case of the rape of a 22-year-old woman in Tirnavos.

According to ERT, their custody was assigned to the Juvenile and Social Assistance Service. We are talking about three young people aged 16 and 17, who are accused of negligent treatment of an incompetent person – the girl is mentally disabled, and a 14-year-old teenager, released without restrictions, accused of complicity.

For their part, the defendants deny the use of violence during sexual intercourse, while defense lawyers will demand a psychiatric report for the 22-year-old, since they argue that he does not have an intellectual disability.

At the same time, the police are continuing to investigate the involvement of others, since according to the 22-year-old’s complaint, there are five alleged perpetrators.

What did the forensic examination of a 22-year-old guy show?

Today, the 22-year-old woman was also examined by a competent forensic expert from the Larisin hospital, and on Saturday evening she was examined by a hospital gynecologist.

According to the medical examiner who conducted the examination, Larisa Khristos Kravvaritis, the 22-year-old woman did not have any obvious injuries indicative of rape. However, according to the medical examiner, this is a “particularly serious and rather complex” case, which will require the help of other sciences and additional research.
