Another animal cruelty case took place in our country, this time in Koropi.

As it became known yesterday after the complaint of the organization “Gaidurohora – the Greek center of donkeys”, donkey tied to a tree, who had been trying to free himself from the rope for several days, was found dead in a field in Koropi.

The organization speaks of “irresponsibility and criminal negligence.”

According to ERT, the owner of the unfortunate animal was found and detained on Sunday evening.

According to the same organization, “by telephone decision of the prosecutor on the immediate, temporary seizure of two other donkeys kept by the same“ person ”, they were transferred to our facilities. Hungry, covered in sores and scared, they enjoy their first regular meal. The owner has been arrested! There were other complaints about him from the past for being neglected.”
