
Mihai Popa signed a contract with Torino, the 22-year-old goalkeeper is a player of the youth national team of Romania, Eurosport reports.

Currently at FC Voluntari (a group with whom he is under contract only until the end of the current competitive season), Popa will be a back-up for Vanj Milinković-Savic in the northern Italian group.
According to the quoted source, the Serie A side have been monitoring Mihai Popa for several days over the past year.
The amount of the transfer is 200,000 euros and will be divided between the entrepreneurs and the clubs that formed it (FC Voluntari will not be selected for the money).
“Farul Constanta” will receive 100,000 euros, the amount corresponds to the training net for football players under the age of 23.
According to Transfermarkt, Mihai Popa has a market share of one million euros. In the current season, the goalkeeper has made 36 appearances for FC Voluntari, being a key player in the team trained by Liviu Chobotariu.
Throughout his career, Popa played for Academia Gheorghe Hagi, Farul Constanta, Rapid Bucharest, Astra Giurgiu and FC Voluntari.
