In June 2021, a former prisoner of Kontoyorgis received a text message on his mobile phone from an unknown sender stating that 40-year-old G.L. and 54-year-old G.V. (named in the Karaiwaz case file without being charged) are planning to kill him Dirty Harry. He received a similar message two weeks before the murder of Kontoyorgis, which took place near the gym in Galatsi.
