Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the President of Ukraine, stated that there are four explanations for the incidents that are taking place in Russia on the railways and at various important enterprises of the country.

Podolyak’s explanations came after a series of accidents that occurred on railways and at various industrial enterprises in Russia, especially in the oil sector.

The last of its kind was a fire (the second in two days) on Friday at the Ilsky Oil Refinery, located near the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Territory. The Russians blamed the attack on drones, but there is no evidence of the culprit behind the incident.

Ukrainian officials usually do not take responsibility for such attacks on the territory of Russia, although they sometimes mark them with ambiguous words. Military analysts say the incidents could be a blow to Russian logistics in preparation for an expected counteroffensive.
