In front of his voters in New Hampshire, Donald Trump promised on Thursday to “smash” President Joe Biden in the 2024 election, AFP reports.

“Joe Biden made it official on Tuesday that he wants four more disastrous years” in office, attacked the former Republican president.

Donald Trump had no harsh words to decry his successor’s record: a country mired in violence and crime, crushed by inflation, where banks are “collapsing”…

In 2024, America will have a choice between “success and failure,” “security or anarchy,” “prosperity or disaster,” he said gravely.

It was his first campaign rally after the historic indictment by a New York court.

“We will defeat Joe Biden,” Trump assured his supporters in his famous red caps.

He then parodied Joe Biden, suggesting that the octogenarian leader is old, a recurring claim among Republicans.

Donald Trump, 76, has also long criticized Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, his main rival for the Republican presidential nomination, but who has yet to announce his candidacy.

He’s “falling” in the polls, he joked.

Despite his historic impeachment, Donald Trump is currently leading the pack of Republican candidates.

So he could be chosen by his party to face Joe Biden again in November 2024.

New Hampshire, where he met with his supporters, is one of the first states to host a Republican primary in early 2024. A win in this state would give Donald Trump a valuable — and needed — boost going forward.
