The family of a 15-year-old boy, who was bullied on March 31 by six of his classmates, who allegedly tied his neck and body with fishing line, filed insurance measures against the psychiatrist of the Arsakei secondary school.
Talking to “K”, the family’s lawyer, Spyros Dimitriou, he said the family had just filed school injunction “to take all necessary measures to ensure the mental and physical integrity of the 15-year-old student.”
“It is unacceptable for a student to continue to co-exist in classes with children who brutally mocked him. Trial on interim measures will take place next week, 03/05/2023and, most likely, the decision will be made on the same day,” adds Mr. Dimitriou.
The mother of a 15-year-old teenager, in an interview with K, said that she was extremely worried, but also outraged that her son still coexists with the children who bullied him. She also emphasizes that the school continues to inform her not about developments in the case, but also about the decision to expel children who practiced bullying.
“The parents visited the school last Monday, right after it opened after the Easter holidays. We requested an update and still haven’t received it. We are worried about our child, and the last thing we want is for those who wrapped the fishing line around his neck to be one breath away from him.

As a reminder, according to a recent report by K, two days ago, the school’s teachers’ association, after a long meeting held on Holy Wednesday, decided to change the school environment for all students who were involved in the outrageous a violent incident against a 15-year-old teenager.
According to the latest information, the decision has been forwarded to the director of the Secondary Education Authority in B’Athens, who will review its contents. The director in question took up his duties on Monday, 24 March.
Sources of “K” from the school environment claim that he should make his decision calmly and having studied the case well, since these are underage students and procedures must be careful.
