Lorenzo Musetti defeated by Stephanos Tsitsipas at ATP Barcelona

After winning the first set, Stefanos Tsitsipas (5 ATP) could have ended the match much earlier.

The Greek conceded a match point and Musetti, who knocked out Novak Djokovic in the round of 16 in Monte Carlo, came back brilliantly to take the second set.

In the deciding set, Tsitsipas made the difference at key moments with his inspiration and unparalleled experience to qualify for Sunday’s final.

The game lasted two and a half hours.

In the final act, Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet with the champion title holder Carlos Alcaraz and the British Daniel Evans (26 ATP).

The Barcelona Open takes place from April 15 to 23 and is part of the ATP 500 category. The total prize money is 2,661,825 euros, and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz became the title champion.
