Noah Matthew Matofsky, 15 actor and the model who plays Slightly, the leader of the Lost Boys in Neverland, in the upcoming Disney film Peter Pan and Wendy.

Noah’s mother stated that he “had to go through a long audition process and was chosen from thousands of young actors. Now Noah has made history as one of the first actors with Down syndrome to star in a Disney movie.”

“As the leader of the Lost Boys, Noah Slightly’s character shows that Down Syndrome should never hold you back. It’s not a learning disability – it’s a difference in learning and we need to embrace that difference,” his mother adds.

Noah was recently named an ambassador for Down Syndrome UK and wants to prove that Down Syndrome shouldn’t hold anyone back.

He told The Sun newspaper that filming was “an amazing experience” and that one of the perks of the job was learning to fight with swords and having his own caravan, which is a bit like a posh private caravan where movie stars can rest between shoots. .

Filming, in which Noah took part, lasted six months and took place in two different locations. For him, the best moment was when Jude Law, who plays Captain Hook, surprised him and other young actors by giving them an ice cream truck with all their favorite flavors.

“I had a lot to learn very quickly, but it was exciting and I really enjoyed it,” Noah said.
