On Maundy Thursday, football player Boris Kleiman, who is accused of raping a minor and possessing drugs, is going to appear before the investigator to apologize.
The goalkeeper was arrested early on Maundy Tuesday in Kolonaki after he allegedly raped an underage Belgian girl who had gone to Greece as part of a school trip.
The incident took place at 02:00 am in a store on Skouf Street. Together with the football player, they were taken to A.T. Syntagma and eight Belgians who were in the company of a 17-year-old boy and fell in love with a football player. A folding knife 15 cm long was found in possession of an 18-year-old Belgian. He was also arrested, but was released on the oral order of the prosecutor.
The athlete was accused of rape, insulting the sexual dignity of a minor and the supply and storage of drugs for personal use, as he was found to have 1.5 grams of heroin.
Kleiman was joined by another Volos football player who did not participate in the incident, but was excluded from the team.
At the same time, the accused athlete allegedly denies the allegations with his lawyer, stating that from the case file and from what the 17-year-old Belgian complained, there are no signs confirming the charge of rape.
