
President Klaus Iohannis attends the Resurrection service at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Sibiu on Saturday evening with his wife Carmen. The head of state addressed the journalists present in the church to the Romanians who are celebrating the Catholic Easter on Sunday, News.ro reports.
“I wish all the Christians who are currently celebrating the Resurrection of the Lord with the holiday, Christ is Risen, good, peaceful days in the circle of family, with friends, and I wish the Christians who will have Palm Sunday tomorrow a good day and a happy New Year. Year,” President Iohannis said at the entrance to the church.
Every year, the head of state, together with his wife Carmen Iohannis, participates in the Resurrection service in Sibiu.
On Saturday morning, the Presidential Administration sent a message from President Klaus Iohannis to those celebrating Easter on Sunday, wishing them “to bring joy to their souls, the gift of communication with loved ones, the reward of peace and harmony.” Johannis also had a message for those celebrating the Flowers.
