The EL.AS investigation is ongoing. to identify and arrest a 34-year-old man who allegedly killed his 71-year-old mother with a rifle in the Chalcedon area of ​​Thessaloniki.

The woman was found on Tuesday morning (04.04) in a car rented by her son, in the passenger seat with a head injury.

The alleged perpetrator is still missing along with the leaders of EL.AS. scan the area to find it.

According to the information, there are two elements that “show” that he is behind the crime.

On the one hand, the discovery of a carbine in his house, which, although it did not explode, is most likely a crime weapon.

On the other hand – and more importantly – the discovery of a handwritten note by a 36-year-old man, in which he apologizes for his act and states that he decided to kill his mother because of the psychological problems that the woman faced.
