Announcement for an attack received by a 12-year-old girl from Kolonos issued by EL.AS., stating, among other things, that the matter is being handled by the competent authorities with due diligence so that the facts can be established accurately.

According to the police, early Monday morning (03.04) a relative of a 12-year-old girl complained on the phone that an unknown person attacked the minor in the house where she lives.

The competent police services were immediately mobilized and the juvenile testified about the incident in the presence of a psychologist, and an order was issued for a forensic medical examination. At the same time, the place where the alleged incident took place was investigated by the competent criminal investigation department.

It is noted that, according to EL.AS., the specified house was regularly examined by assigned patrols, however, it was not under constant guard due to the failure to submit the relevant request provided for by the current legislation.
