In 2015, the actor told People magazine that the diagnosis came as a surprise to him, despite his age. “It’s always a little shocking when you hear the word cancer. This is very common in Australia. As a child, I never used sunscreen, so I was a prime candidate for using it.”
In the caption to the post, he wrote that “I will continue to talk about them if I have to, and if it gets at least one person to wear high SPF sunscreen, I will be happy,” he admitted.
