
Traffic rules will come into force on Sunday (04.02) in the southern suburbs of Attica for sporting events.
Due to the endurance cycling race “Attica Race 2023”, the movement of vehicles will be suspended from 10:30 to 14:30 on the road network below, in the area of the municipalities of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni, Saronicos and Lavreotiki.
The movement will be interrupted in detail:
-On the right lane of Athens – Sounio street, in the section from Vas.Kon / nou street (Delta Varkizas) to 52000 street, in the traffic flow towards Sounio.
-In Athens – Sounio Avenue, on the section from 52,000th street (Anavyssos) to 72,000th street (Sounio), in the traffic flow towards Sounio.
At the same time, on the same day, in connection with the “Race for Autism Gr”, from 8:30 to 11:00 there will be a gradual cessation of traffic and a ban on stopping and parking vehicles, in the right lane, from the L. K. Karamanli from Aktis street to the intersection of L. Athina with Kronou street, traffic towards Sounio, Vari-Voulas-Vouliagmenis municipality area.
“For better service and to avoid additional traffic problems, drivers are asked to avoid crossing the above road network with their vehicles during the specified time period and to follow the signals and instructions of the traffic controllers.”
