
Two days after Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis officially announced the elections for May 21, a new poll by Metron Analysis is published, which fixes New Democracy’s lead over SYRIZA by 4.7%.
It is noted that the survey, which was presented in the main Mega news roundup, was conducted after the announcement of the election by the Prime Minister.

Specifically, in terms of voting intentions, ND gains 26.2%, SYRIZA registers a percentage of 21.5%, PASOK 9.4%, followed by KKE with 5.7%, Hellenic Solution with 4.2%, MERA 25 with 3.9% and the Greeks (Cassidiari). party) from 3.8%.
Compared to the previous “poll” of the company, the difference between the two parties is decreasing, as in the previous poll, the distance between ND and SYRIZA was 5.8% p.p.
The poll fixes SYRIZA growth at 1%, while New Democracy and PASOK remain at a stable level.
As for the undecided votes, according to the results of the poll, they make up 11.6%.
In terms of vote scores, ND gains 32.5%, followed by SYRIZA with 26.7%, with a difference of 5.8 points between the ruling party and the main opposition party. It is followed by PASOK with 11.7%, KKE with 7.1%, Hellenic Solution with 5.2%, MERA25 with 4.9% and the Greeks with 4.7%.

According to the survey, for Greek society, the country’s biggest problem remains economy (24%). This is followed by tidiness (19%), politics (17%), insecurity (7%) and unemployment (6%).
Regarding the nature of governments, 49% of respondents want governments to be cooperative and 48% to be independent.
Finally, in terms of eligibility for the office of prime minister, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis remains first – and with an increase from the previous poll – with 36%, Alexis Tsipras scored 17% and Nikos Androulakis 6%.
