Deloitte Romania assisted the Mexican bakery company Grupo Bimbo, a world leader in the industry, in the acquisition of the local market leader Vel Pitar from the American private equity fund NCH Capital. The deal, which marks Grupo Bimbo’s entry into the Romanian market, was completed in early 2023.
