Bernardo Silva, a back-up option for Real if they don’t sign Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid’s No. 1 priority this summer is England midfielder Jude Bellingham.

However, “Los Blancos” may be a bit scared by the fierce competition for the signature of the player from Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool, Manchester City and most recently Manchester United have already announced their intentions to sign Bellingham, and in case he does not arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid already have a back-up option.

The Portuguese’s contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2025, and Barcelona tried to buy him last year.

Recently, the footballer gave an interview to Mundo Deportivo, and there he said that he is considering a transfer in the summer, but at the moment he is focused on achieving his goals with Manchester City.

“Honestly, none of what was said affects me. I try to do my best and then anything can happen. There are still three months of this season and many important things to fight for, such as the Champions League, which we always wanted to win.

Bernardo Silva is currently valued at €80 million according to Transfermarkt.

Manchester City paid 50 million euros for Bernardo Silva. He was transferred from Monaco in the summer of 2017 and has since made 290 appearances, scoring 52 goals and providing 56 assists.
