“Maestro in Blue”: Greek Netflix series hit globally with 7.3 million hours watched.

Maestro in blue“, his popular TV series Christophoros Papakaliatis which premiered in October on the Mega channel and was added to its film library in December. Netflix in Greece and Cyprus, is now available for viewing on the platform in many countries around the world.

In particular, the series, filmed in Paxos and starring Christoforos Papakaliatis, Maria Kavogianni, Clelia Andriolatou, Antinoos Albanis, Haris Alexiou, Dimitris Kitsos, joined the worldwide streaming service on March 17th. In just a few days, it managed to hit its stride as, according to Netflix, the first week’s watch hours were impressive.

As the creator wrote on his Instagram account, “Maestro in Blue” was included in the list of 10 non-English-language series that have been watched over March 13–19, 2023. According to the platform, the series reached 7.3 million hours watched. In fact, in many countries he has risen high in the rankings: for example, in America he is in tenth place, and in Australia he is seventh.

Hours before posting, he was at a dinner in Los Angeles with Netflix’s chief content officer and co-CEO Ted Sarandos. They were joined by actors/hosts of Greek origin living in America such as Maria Menounos, Nia Vardalos, John Stamos and others.
