In addition to modest results and playing in the championship, the FCSB could face severe sanctions from the Disciplinary Committee if it does not bring in a coach with a PRO license as soon as possible.

FCSB risks being left behind if they do not bring in a coach with a PRO license

After Leonard Strizu left the position of head coach of the team, FCSB bet on Mihai Pintilius and Lucian Filip, who have been coaching the red and blue all this time.

Disciplinary regulations oblige the FCSB to engage a coach with a PRO license, despite the fact that the team’s financier refuses to do so.

The club has 30 days after the resignation of Leonard Striza to invite another licensed coach.

For every match without a coach on the technical bench, FCSB is fined by the Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Football Federation.

“Sports structures are obliged to have a head coach on the date of official matches who meets the conditions provided for in Art. 20 par. 2 Coach Status Regulations (Pro license holder number for League 1 teams). Failure to fulfill this obligation is punishable by a sports fine of 2,000 lei. “

In addition, if the 30 days at its disposal are exceeded, FCSB risks not making the playoffs and losing games at the green table.

“Failure to comply with the deadline provided for in Art. 20 par. 5 (appointment of a new coach within a certain period) (No. 30 days), it is sanctioned by the non-appointment of the official games of the wine club teams.

The sanction will be assigned by the Disciplinary Commission of the FRF after the referral made by the Technical Commission.” – says the resolution.

This means that for the match against CFR Cluj, scheduled for April 8, FCSB must have a PRO license holder on the bench.
