UDMR President Kelemen Hunor announced on Friday that he will run for a new mandate to lead the formation, and in this sense he asked for the support of delegates who will participate in the Union’s congress in April this year.
He claims that he wants to further promote the development of the Hungarian community and the entire society in Romania.
“I decided to continue my work as the president of UDMR because I want to continue to contribute to the development of our community and the whole society in Romania.
I know the goal, I know the direction: in this decade we can develop our country thanks to the state and European financial resources at our disposal, and all people must benefit from this development. In this work, I ask for the support of the delegates at the Union Congress in April, during which the president of the UDMR will be elected for a new term,” the leader of the UDMR wrote on Facebook.
