Sharon Stone revealed on the Table for Two podcast that she lost custody of her son during a 2004 divorce because of a biased judge. She said the judge asked the four-year-old boy if he knew his mother was making “sex movies”.

“It was a weapon against me,” the actress said in a custody battle over her son Roan, who she adopted with her then-husband Phil Bronstein in 2000, The Guardian reports.

“Now people regularly appear on TV without clothes, and my possible 16-second nude scene caused me to lose custody of my child,” said Stone, who was only granted visitation rights at the time.

She said the decision had a profound effect on her, contributing to her hospitalization for heart problems a year later. “It literally broke my heart,” Sharon Stone said.
