The recall of packaged peanuts is ongoing ADDRESS due to the presence of dead larvae and their hyphae.

As part of the consumer report investigation, EFET and the regional office of EFET in Attica tested the food product “Go Nutz-KARAGIANNIS, spinach – baked and salted with salt substitute” 220g with the data: expiration date: 12.10.23 and LOT 221210.

The product is processed and packaged in Greece by “CHRISTOS DIM.KARAGIANNIS AEVE”, (XIROKARP), 4th km Amfilochia-Agrini and distributed by METRO (My Market).

Macroscopic examination revealed the presence of dead larvae and their hyphae inside the package.

The company has already taken steps to withdraw this product from the market. E.F.E.T. oversees the recall process while the relevant checks are already underway.

Consumers who have purchased the above product are asked not to consume it.
