According to ELAS, after using information about the importation of drugs and mobile phones into the special detention center for minors in Avlonas, hidden in a catering car, a special group of police officers was created to receive and sell to prisoners. in order to prevent criminal activity. In particular, a truck with the defendants on board drove up to the Avlona pre-trial detention center. Shortly before entering, he was stopped by the police, who, with the help of a police dog, carried out a thorough search of the inside of the truck.

Carefully hidden in a vault between the driver’s and passenger’s seats, the check revealed a makeshift bag containing 26.3 grams of marijuana. A search of a warehouse-refrigerator followed, where a bag containing, among other things, 157.1 grams of marijuana, 3 mobile phones, a SIM card, 3 mobile phone chargers and 3 pairs of wired headphones was found among the grocery stores.

Those arrested with a case initiated against them were taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office of Athens.
