This is Mohammad-Andriz Mia, 33, from Bangladesh, who was on the fateful IC-62 train from Athens to Thessaloniki, a lawyer for the unfortunate immigrant’s family confirmed to APE-MPE.

According to lawyer Tanasis Hatsakos, a DNA sample from a 33-year-old man was taken from a toothbrush in his home and identified with biological material collected from the accident site.

According to Mr. Hatsakos, Mohammad-Andriz Mia worked as a merchant in Greece and moved to Athens for the needs of his job.

His disappearance was reported to the police by a friend (of the same nationality) who knew about the trip.

The case is pending before the investigator.

In his letter, the Prime Minister asked to raise the level of investigation in Larisa to the highest possible investigative level and to conduct an in-depth investigation into the delay of projects by justice until the completion of the investigation of a special expert commission, which, according to him, will be submitted to the court.

Urgent certificate of sick leave to the head of the station

Immediately after the tragic incident in Tempi, Minister of Health Thanos Plyuris issued an order for an urgent investigation to study the conditions for granting a sick leave to the head of the station.
