
CS Dynamo Bucharest announces a historic result for Romanian sports: George Djinga won a silver medal in the ski mountaineering competition (U20), an Olympic discipline.
George became the world vice-champion in the queen of ski mountaineering, an individual distance of 12 km with a difference in level of 1200 meters.
Our athlete noted this performance at the World Championship in Spain, from Boy Taulla, in the U20 category.
The event in which George won the silver medal is an Olympic event, and Jinga is a hopeful for the 2026 Olympics (to be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo from February 6 to 22, 2026).
The athlete is trained by Raresh Manea, and also has a bronze medal in cadets.
Austrian Nils Oberauer won the gold medal, and Italian Davide Sambrizzi won the bronze.
