Claudia Bobochea scored an important performance at the European Indoor Championships in Istanbul.

The athlete won the silver medal at the distance of 1500 meters, losing only to the British Laura Muir.

The Romanian finished the race in 4:03.76 minutes, while Laura Muir crossed the finish line in 4:03.40 minutes.

The podium was closed by Sofia Ennaui from Poland (4:04.06 min).

On the way to the podium, Florentina defeated F. Khojieva (Uzbekistan), A. Belkadi (Algeria), M. Del Toto Carvajal (Cuba) and A. Leski (Slovenia).
