
Several flowers in memory of the victims of the railway accident in Tempe on the left, on the site of the new railway station Thessalonikidemonstrators who took part in today’s protest march.
The demonstrators gathered at the call of the student unions in Kamara and then formed a mass march on Egnatia Street towards the west. With banners and shouting slogans, they walked to the new station, and then changed direction and returned to the city center.
After the march ended, a group of people set fire to garbage cans in Egnatia, on the height of Panagia Halkeon, and threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the police, who responded with tear gas. A slight tension was also noted shortly after the start of the march.
