In a message sent on Thursday evening, Zelensky noted that during the day he spoke with the president of Brazil, resuming contacts between the two countries at the highest level, as well as with the president of Switzerland, whom he thanked for the package of support for Ukraine, News.ro notes.

He added that there was also a meeting of the General Staff, which discussed the situation on the front line and security.

“Today’s brutal Russian missile attack from Zaporozhye will have a military and legal response from our side. The occupier will inevitably feel our power. The power of justice in all senses of the word,” Zelenskyy said.

He noted that 11 people were saved after the attack on the quarter in Zaporizhzhia, and more than 70 received help. Zelensky reported that two people are currently on the list of the dead.

The President of Ukraine announced that he signed new decrees awarding 847 defenders.

“Today, the number of defenders whose courage and efficiency have been awarded state awards exceeds 40,000. Thank you to everyone who protects our country! I am grateful to everyone who teaches Russia every day that Ukraine cannot be defeated. We will resist. We will win. And we will bring all Russian terrorists to justice,” Zelensky emphasized.
