The process of identifying the victims of the railway tragedy in the city of Tempe began with serious difficulties, as the bodies of at least seven people were burned, according to ERT.

According to the state channel, 53 people did not find their relatives, who were traveling on a train on the route Athens – Thessaloniki, and went to the Larissa General Hospital.

There are 4 forensic experts in the hospital, as well as, according to information, the head of the Athens Forensic Service.

Passengers are still missing, and authorities’ assessment that the number of victims will increase.

According to information from Greek trainonly two trains were on board 354 people (342 passengers and 12 attendants, two of them on a commercial train).
