BT police officers have launched an investigation into the Internet fraud case. Kissamos. According to the police statement, “As a result of a thorough and detailed police investigation and preliminary investigation by the Kissamos Police Department and after the proper use of the data, the data of two citizens (male and female) were established, who, as it turned out, created an online site and through it were selling imitations of branded products.”

In this context, and on the orders of the Kissamos Police Department, the Western Achaia Security Department carried out searches of homes, businesses and warehouses owned and used by criminals in the West Achaia municipality area.

During the investigation, a number of counterfeit power tools of branded companies were discovered and seized, which were intended for sale via the Internet as genuine, as well as various supporting documents regarding the illegal operation of the online store. The native was arrested.

In a message to EL.AS. it is reported that the amount of money paid by the victim was confiscated as proceeds of crime before it was collected by the perpetrators and would be legally attributed to him.

The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Kissamos Police Department in cooperation with the West Achaia Security Department.
