
The provisional detention of Rulas Pispirigo was extended for another six months following a unanimous decision by a mixed jury.
The local prosecutor also suggested that the motion be dismissed, noting that “the offense for which he is being held in custody carries a penalty of up to life imprisonment, and the term of temporary detention can be extended up to a maximum of 18 months.”
It is noted that on February 28, the 12-month temporary detention of a 34-year-old woman “ended”, while she was also taken into custody in the case of the death of her two other children, Malena and Iris.
