He was at the beginning of the 19th century one of the first foreign manufacturers spread on the Old Continent: General Motors. With its brands Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Cadillac or even LaSalle, GM locally assembled models in Europe, at its plant in Bienne, Switzerland. This was the case from 1936 to 1972, when the factory closed its doors. After this date General Motors distributed models in Europe only in small quantities. But it must be said that the group was bought Opel/Vauxhall in 1929, so that these brands became its official European subsidiaries. The Cadillac soldier is still standing

Imagine what else there is GM’s enduring brand in Europe, Cadillac! Although we hear very little about it, the premium division is still rolling out in European countries, including France! After a peak of 3,000 registrations in Europe in 2007, Cadillac has become a rather low-key brand. In 2022, just over 600 cars were sold on the Old Continent. The XT4 applies a bit of makeup

Visually, the changes are quite imperceptible. This new XT4 has advantages thin headlights, which give it a more serious and edgy look, still 100% LED. The grille is now more extended as well protective clogs. Changes are much easier at the rear, the lights remain the same and the reflectors simply change from horizontal to vertical. The changes in the cabin are especially noticeable. Driver information and infotainment are now combined into one new common screen, 33 inches. Cadillac has equipped this XT4 with a 5G modem for connecting to the Internetand a new multimedia system 13 speakers. However, there are no changes under the engine, it keeps its own 2-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 235 horsepower. It will be available in the US market in 2024, so for sure the end of the year for us.
