Washington promised to spend almost 47 billion dollars on weapons and equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from January 24 last year to January 15 this year.

The UK is the second largest donor with commitments of $5.1 billion.

In addition to military aid, researchers from the Kiel Institute of World Economics highlighted a large gap between promises regarding general budget support for Kyiv and the money actually paid.

As of last month, “only 48 percent of the committed external budget support has been paid,” they say.
