According to the source, the 10-year-old child has stabilized, but his condition remains serious.

“During yesterday (Sunday – no), the patient was operated on by a multidisciplinary team. He remains in serious but stable condition, intubated and on a ventilator. We hope for a favorable development of events. It is important that he has stabilized hemodynamics and breathes on his own. From this moment, we can say that his life is no longer in danger, and work will begin to restore the parts torn by the dogs,” said the head of the children’s hospital “St. Maria” from Yass.

Alina Belu added that during the attack, the dogs bit the boy’s chest and tore off his ear.

“I would like such events not to happen again and to treat the dogs in our yard more responsibly. Even if the mother was next to the child at the time when this tragedy happened, I can say that it is very difficult to face, actually fight with a pack of dogs,” Alina Belu also noted.

A 10-year-old child arrived at the hospital on Sunday after being attacked by several dogs on the street in Botosani. The owner of the dogs was detained by the police, accusing him of not taking the necessary measures to prevent the animals from entering the public road.
