The Hippocratio Hospital in Thessaloniki launched a preliminary investigation into the death of a little girl who died in the Municipal Kindergarten of Agios Stylianos.

In particular, a 2.5-year-old girl from Nigeria, who was in the municipal kindergarten “Agios Stylianos” in Thessaloniki, died, despite the efforts of EKAV rescuers who arrived there.

According to what is known so far, the child was transferred to Hippocrates yesterday Thursday, where he was given recommendations for antibiotic treatment, a re-examination in ten days, and the possibility of surgical treatment of the tonsils (tonsil hypertrophy and rhinitis).

However, upon returning to the nursery, the nurse on duty allegedly discovered that the little girl was having trouble breathing and notified the ambulance.

Unfortunately, everyone’s efforts were unsuccessful. The general secretary of the municipality rushed to the nursery to monitor the progress of the procedure, as well as the forensic expert, who will draw up a conclusion of the forensic medical examination.
