
Two men, members of a criminal gang, were handcuffed yesterday Thursday for possession and drug trafficking by members of the Sub-Directorate of Narcotics of the Attica Security Directorate.
It was preceded by the proper use of information data and the creation of individual “profiles” (profiling), through which their activities in the sale of cocaine and cannabis to small drug dealers in Attica were revealed, with their illegal profits estimated at no less than 820,000 euros.
As a result of searches carried out in the house and in the warehouse, where one of the detainees was hiding drugs (kavatza), the following were found and seized:
- 17 kilograms and 780 grams of cocaine,
- 122 kilograms and 511 grams of raw hemp,
- 3 kilograms 755 grams of cocaine counterfeiting powder,
- pistol, 2 magazines and 179 rounds,
- 2 accurate electronic scales,
- 3 mobile phones,
- 2 IXE cars and
- 650 euros.
The arrested, against whom a criminal case was initiated for violating the laws on drugs and weapons, were taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
