Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal on the preliminary list of Indian Wells 2023 participants

The world leader after winning the 10th Australian Open of his career, Nole is on this list, but according to specialized media, there is little chance that the Serb will be seen at the Masters tournament in the Californian desert.

The Joker is currently unable to travel to the United States due to his refusal to be vaccinated against Covid-19, Reuters reports.

In America, vaccination against the coronavirus is still mandatory for all foreign citizens arriving on the territory of the United States.

There is little chance that the ban will be lifted before March 8, when Indian Wells starts in 2023.

Nole has won five times in California, but the last time he participated was in 2019.

The preliminary list of participants also includes names such as Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz.

Injured at the Australian Open (where he crashed out in the second round), Rafa still has little hope of being fit by the time Indian Wells rolls around.

Former world number one Carlos Alcaraz has been ruled out of the Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne due to physical problems, but there is a good chance he will be seen at the event in California.

Indian Wells 2023 will be held from March 8 to 19. It is part of the Masters category, has a total prize pool of $8,800,000, is played on hard, and the title is Taylor Fritz.
